Lena student presented with Herb Kohl scholarship

A Herb Kohl Educational Foundation 2014 Initiative Scholarship was presented to Rose Tebo-Magee, a senior at Lena High School, at an April 6 recognition luncheon hosted by retired U.S. Sen. Herb Kohl. The Herb Kohl Initiative Scholarship recognizes students who have demonstrated a high level of motivation, have shown strong promise for achieving success in college and beyond, and have overcome significant personal obstacles or adversity. In 2014 the Herb Kohl Foundation awarded 87 students throughout Wisconsin with $1,000 Initiative Scholarships. Since it was established in 1990, the Herb Kohl Educational Foundation has awarded $8.6 million to Wisconsin students, teachers and schools.
