John Schoeneman

John Schoeneman, 88, of Shawano, passed away Friday afternoon, July 15, 2022, at Theda Clark Regional Medical Center in Neenah, where he had been a patient for three days. John was born in Baird, Nebraska, on Oct. 11, 1933, a son of the late John and Linda (Yaats) Schoeneman. He attended school in Baird, where he graduated from high school. When he was just 19 years old, John opened his own blacksmith business. On Aug. 2, 2008, he was united in marriage to the former Pamella J. Spice in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. John had a passion for horses and attended many horse shows. He also enjoyed farming and gardening. Even after retiring, John continued to help others on their farms. Survivors include his wife, Pamella Schoeneman, of Shawano; his sons, Craig (Joanne) Schoeneman, of Arizona, Derrick Rodenbeck and Shane Rodenbeck, both of Shawano; five grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, relatives including great-grandchildren, and friends. A graveside service for John will be held on Friday, July 22, 2022, at 2:30 p.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery in Shawano.
