A Green Bay man died June 25 after his pickup truck left U.S. Highway 141 and ran into a creek.
An Oconto County Sheriff’s Department traffic report identified the victim as Richard John Kennedy, 75.
The report indicates that at about 11:56 a.m., the pickup truck left the roadway south of Highway 141 near Guelig Road in the Town of Stiles, getting stuck in the water.
Sheriff Todd Skarban said in a press release that deputies located Kennedy unresponsive inside the cab. The driver was beyond medical assistance and was pronounced dead at the scene, Skarban said.
The sheriff’s department was assisted by the Brown County Medical Examiner’s Office, the sheriff said.
