Eggert is medalist as Hawks finish second

Sept. 17 Bay Conference Mini-Meet No. 8 Shawano finished with a 194, five strokes behind Seymour’s 189 at Ridgeway Country Club, the home course for Xavier. Once again, Sophia Eggert was the medalist with a 42. Seymour finished with all four golfers under 50. “With only the Bay Conference Invite left on Tuesday, Shawano will need some help to overtake Seymour for the conference title,” coach Dean Kugler said. “We will need to finish first and Seymour third for us to beat Seymour out for the conference title, and neither team has finished below second in a meet all year.”
