Edward Curran

Edward Curran, 81, of Shawano, passed away Thursday, Feb. 6, 2020. He was born Dec. 30, 1938, in Milwaukee, to the late Cyril and Ella (Zeske) Curran. Edward worked in sales and installation of water well pumps, his extensive knowledge of which led him to teach seminars around the world. Edward was a 35-year member of AA and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Shawano. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his loving partner of 30 years, Rosie Fierek; his children, Edith Marie Baars, of Sussex, Edward Curran II, of Hales Corners, and Eric (Chandra White) Curran, of Greenville, South Carolina; stepchildren, Vicky Ann Fierek, Julie Ann Gonzales and Timothy Allen Fierek; and grandchildren, Ray-Ray, Kassia, Eddie, Kelley, Jesse (Katie), Wayne, Bella, Anna, Sarah, Cash, Emmet and Grayce. Edward is further survived by his siblings, Wayne (Sylvia) Curran, Bonnie Curran and Joan Gancitano; favorite niece, Sandra Lembke; numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his stepsons, Michael Fierek and Christopher Fierek; and his sister, Linda Curran. A memorial service was held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2020, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Shawano with the Rev. Scott Valentyn officiating. Inurnment was at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
