Amber Damrau, family medicine nurse practitioner, is now seeing patients at Marshfield Clinic Wittenberg Center.
She joins nurse practitioner Ali Schmutzler, who also has a practice there.
Damrau has nearly 20 years of experience in health care. She has worked in emergency medicine, intensive care, cardiology and even on a med flight pediatric/neonatal team.
“Throughout those experiences, I have found my passion for providing care for all ages, which led me to family medicine,” Damrau said. “I want to share the knowledge I’ve gained throughout my career and help others.”
Damrau now sees patients for things like preventative care, women’s health issues, wellness exams, acute illnesses and the management of chronic diseases for everyone from newborns to older adults.
“I look forward to building relationships with my patients in Wittenberg, getting to know them while also empowering them to improve their health,” she said. “Health promotion and prevention are key to helping people live healthier lives.”
Damrau grew up in Tigerton and continues to live there. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, being outdoors, horseback riding and helping on her family’s dairy farm.
