Dairy farm adds quilt with golden corners

Three barn quilts were installed in May by Oconto Electric Cooperative for the Barn Quilts of Oconto County project. Quilt block No. 27 was installed at Golden Corners Dairy in Morgan, a third-generation farm purchased by Henry and Caroline Wolf in 1946. John and Bev Wolf bought the farm from John’s parents in 1979. In 2009, Golden Corners Dairy LLC was formed. Andy and Bryan, sons of John and Bev, are also owners and operators of Golden Corners Dairy. The name Golden Corners Dairy was chosen as a reference to the Golden Corners cheese factory, which was just across the field from the farm, going back to the early 1900s. The family chose this block pattern because of the golden corners on the quilt block. On June 14, Golden Corners Dairy was the host farm for the 2015 Oconto County Breakfast on the Farm.
