• Shawn L. Matson, 49, Racine, had his probation revoked June 5 in a case involving possession of methamphetamine and two misdemeanor counts of bail jumping. Judge Katherine Sloma sentenced him July 8 to 12 months in county jail, although he was given credit for 295 days already served. • A jury found Britney M. Gavitt, 32, Wittenberg, guilty April 24 of possession of methamphetamine, possession of THC (second or subsequent offense), possession of a firearm by a person convicted of a felony, 39 counts of felony bail jumping and a misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia. Judge William Kussel Jr. sentenced her July 5 to two years in prison, followed by three years of extended supervision. • Twenty-six charges were dismissed July 8 against Raymond A. Tourtillott, 44, of Green Bay, with prejudice, meaning the charges may not be refiled, on the defendant’s motion. • Three charges were dismissed July 11 against Serenna M. Webster, 40, of Suring, on the prosecutor’s motion. • Forrest M. Waupoose, 43, of Milwaukee, pleaded no contest July 10 to two misdemeanor charges of operating a motor vehicle while his license was revoked. Sloma levied fines and suspended his license for 45 days. Four felony charges were dismissed on the prosecutor’s motion. • Shaniece R. Kalinke, 25, Pickerel, pleaded no contest Sept. 26, 2023, to two counts of theft of movable property with special facts and two misdemeanor counts of resisting or obstructing an officer. On July 9, Sloma placed her on four years of probation with conditions, including up to 150 days in county jail. • Matthew W. Goewey, 34, Wood River, Illinois, pleaded guilty July 11 to possession of THC (second or subsequent offense) and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. Sloma levied fines and other assessments totalling $3,112. • Dale C. Boivon, 40, Keshena, was charged July 8 with felony bail jumping. Kussel set a $250 cash bond and scheduled a status conference for Aug. 27. • Kurt JR Martz, 53, Shawano, was charged July 8 with felony bail jumping. Kussel set a $2,500 signature bond and scheduled a status conference for July 23. • Corey A. Welch, 38, Mattoon, was charged July 8 with two counts of felony bail jumping. Kussel set a $500 cash bond and scheduled a status conference for Aug. 13. • Angelo Tyger Perez, 40, Neopit, was charged July 8 with felony bail jumping. Kussel set a $500 cash bond and scheduled a preliminary hearing for July 12. • Dustyn W. Poppe, 35, Antigo, was charged July 8 with felony bail jumping. Kussel set a $500 cash bond and scheduled a preliminary hearing for July 26. • Brandt T. Butler, 21, Wausau, was charged July 8 with six counts of felony bail jumping and misdemeanor counts of resisting or obstructing an officer, possession of amphetamine, possession of THC and two counts of disorderly conduct. Kussel set a $3,000 cash bond and scheduled a preliminary hearing for July 15. • Krystal K. Espinosa, 39, Wittenberg, was charged July 8 with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated (fourth offense) and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Kussel set a $1,500 cash bond and scheduled a status conference for Sept. 19. • Cierra N. Bernarde, 29, Bowler, was charged July 9 with possession of narcotic drugs, four counts of felony bail jumping and a misdemeanor count of possession of an illegal obtained prescription. Kussel set a $1,500 cash bond and scheduled a preliminary hearing for July 16. • Kaitlynn F. Kress, 29, Cecil, was charged July 9 with two counts of reckless driving causing great bodily harm, two counts of first-degree recklessly endangering safety and one count of second-degree recklessly endangering safety. Kussel set a $12,000 cash bond and scheduled a preliminary hearing for July 15. • Nicolas R. Woodke, 46, Shawano, was charged July 11 with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and causing injury (second or subsequent offense) and operating a motor vehicle with a prohibited alcohol counts and causing injury (second or subsequent offense). Judge Gregory Huber set a $500 cash bond and adjourned Woodke’s initial appearance until Sept. 19. • Camellia R. Muhs, 33, Matoon, was charged July 11 with possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting or obstructing an officer. Huber set a $300 cash bond and scheduled a status conference for Sept. 3.
