Beverly Mae Monroe, 73, of the town of Washington, passed away Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013, in Appleton. Born on Oct. 21, 1940, in Milwaukee, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Sybella (Loppnow) Earsley.
On Nov. 24, 1982, she was united in marriage to Glenn Monroe in Port Washington. Bev worked as a secretary for Warren-Nett Realty and also worked at Walmart. She had a warm heart and truly enjoyed life. She also enjoyed traveling and loved the company of her cherished pets. Bev was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church, town of Washington.
Bev is survived by her husband, Glenn; her five children, Mike (Terry) Haas, Kim Haas, Tom (Dawn) Haas, Bill Monroe, Jeff Haas; stepchildren; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a sister, Shirley (Frank) Evens.
A memorial service will be held at 12:15 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15, 2013, at the Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with the Rev. Steven Pockat officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
A second memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 18, 2013, at the Mueller Funeral Home in Cedarburg. Visitation will be held at the funeral home in Cedarburg on Monday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
