Oconto Falls High School volleyball player McKenna Larsen was named the Bay Conference player of the year to lead the all-conference award winners this year in the Bay and Marinette & Oconto conferences.
Larsen, a senior at OFHS, was named first team all-Bay Conference along with fellow senior Carly Lemke.
Senior setter Elizabeth Watzka and junior libero McKayla Johnson were honorable mentions.
• In football, Oconto Falls had six players earn honorable mentions. Running back Tyler Kowalczyk, wide receiver Zach Brye and center Ross Pumplin all earned offensive honors.
On defense, lineman James Salscheider, linebacker Jacob Yatso and defensive back Alex Johnson were honorable mentions.
Marinette & Oconto
Dylan Robers led the Gillett Secondary School football team with first team all-conference honors at wide receiver. Running back Monte Noffke was named second team all-conference. Offensive lineman Kody Pawlak and defensive lineman Eric Fischer also took home second team honors.
Alex Zeitler and Daniel Torres were honorable mentions.
Running back Dillon Kempen was a first team selection for the Suring High School football team.
John Horst was a second team selection at both linebacker and offensive line. Tyler Fisher was a second team selection at defensive line. Creo VanBellinger made second team at defensive back.
Tyler Herning and Sawyer Anderson were honorable mentions.
Lena/STAA was led by tight end Bernie Beyer, who earned first team honors.
Offensive lineman Garrett Nikolai and defensive back Keifer Powers were named to the second team.
Alex Votava and Matt Marquardt were honorable mentions.
• In volleyball, Gillett senior Brianna Lemirande took home first team all-conference honors. Teammate Kara Brennan was an honorable mention.
Suring’s Calley VanBellinger was named first team and Lena’s Melissa Bushmaker was named to second team.
