Tigerton 5, Aniwa 0 Eric Kroening’s seventh-inning, two-run home run capped Tigerton’s 5-1 win over Aniwa to advance to the Badger Amateur Baseball Association’s Grand Championship game, which will be played against Plover on Sunday in Tigerton. Kroening was 2 for 4 with a double, a home run and two RBIs. Paul Sellner earned the win on the mound and had triple. Eric Gendusa and Brandon Sivertson each added a hit. Mike McCann led Aniwa with a pair of hits. Scott Greening, John Krueger and Jared Szews each added hits. Plover 3, Clintonville 1 Plover rallied from an early 1-0 deficit to beat Clintonville 3-1 in the BABA semifinal Sunday in Plover. Eric Fritz, who would earn the pitching win, hit an RBI single in the third to tie the game. After a walk and hit batsmen loaded the bases, Eric Flowerette hit a go-ahead, two-run double. Flowerette was 2 for 4. Howie Heinrich and Bill Held also had hits. Dean Muthig led Clintonville with a pair of hits. John Dunlavy had a double. Jared Westphal was 1 for 4 with an RBI.
