Two people were injured Thursday morning when a van collided with a pickup on state Highway 32 at Middle Drive in Angelica.
The crash was still being investigated, but initial investigation indicated that a Dodge Caravan driven by a 33-year-old Green Bay man failed to yield at a stop sign on Middle Drive and continued onto Highway 32, where the van was hit by a Chevy truck driven by a 71-year-old Krakow man, according to the Shawano County Sheriff’s Department.
The driver of the truck had to be extricated from the vehicle.
The extent of the injuries was unknown, but the driver of the van was transported to St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay.
The accident happened just after 8:10 a.m.
Sheriff’s deputies, Pulaski police and fire and NEW Ambulance Service responded to the scene.
