WHY IT MATTERS: With Bonduel High School celebrating its homecoming week, the Bears will look to build on last week’s domination of Wittenberg-Birnamwood. A packed Rush Niles Memorial Field will also see the induction of a new hall of fame class prior to the game. Bonduel (3-1, 1-1 Central Wisconsin Conference-8) will look to get another conference win against Iola-Scandinavia (3-1, 1-1 CWC-8) and share second place with either Amherst (4-0, 2-0 CWC-8) or Shiocton (4-0, 2-0), which face each other Friday night in Amherst.

WHAT: Shawano vs. Seymour
WHEN:4 p.m. Friday
WHERE: Shawano Community High School
WHY IT MATTERS: The Shawano Community High School boys soccer team (2-5, 2-1 Bay Conference) will look to regroup from its 5-0 loss to Luxemburg-Casco by handing Seymour (9-0-3, 3-0 Bay) its first conference loss. The Hawks will have to shut down Seymour scorers Paola Lassila, who has four goals this season in conference play, and Jose Alicia, who has three. Lassila was second in the conference in scoring heading into the week.
