BOYS BASKETBALL Bonduel 78 Manawa 49 Bonduel defeated visiting Manawa behind three double-digit scorers Friday. Connor Rosin scored a game-high 22 points. Two of his seven field goals were from behind the 3-point line. Peyton Czarapata had 13 points. Austin Marcks finished with 11 points, including three 3-pointers. Bonduel (6-0, 3-0 Central Wisconsin-8) led 14-13 after the first period, broke open the game with a 21-14 advantage in the second period and closed with a 26-12 edge in the final period. Matt Radloff led Manawa (2-7, 0-3 CWC-8) with 17 points. Luke Witz added 11 points. Gresham 69 Tri-County 42 Gresham Community School remains unbeaten following its Central Wisconsin-10 victory at Tri-County on Friday. The Wildcats (5-0, 4-0 CWC-10) were led by Christian Haffner’s 24 points. Neal Cerveny added 18 points. Kacey Zdroik led the Penguins (3-2, 2-2 CWC-10) with 11 points. In the junior varsity game, Gresham won 49-22. GIRLS BASKETBALL Shawano 42 Luxemburg-Casco 32 Shawano won its second game in a row Friday. The Hawks (2-5, 2-3 Bay) were led by Sara Hokenstad with 10 points. Megan Klitzke and Brian Boda each had seven points. Erika Dunnam led the team in rebounding with seven boards. The Spartans (1-7, 1-3 Bay) were led by Alexis Dorner with 11 points. Bonduel 67 Manawa 20 Hayley Sorenson led all Bonduel scorers Friday in the undefeated Bears’ Central Wisconsin-8 victory at Manawa (2-6, 0-4 CWC-8). Emily Sorenson added 10 points for Bonduel (8-0, 4-0 CWC-8). Jennifer Dowden and Taylor Weier each had six rebounds. Lexi Reinke had five steals. Menominee Indian 54 Almond-Bancroft 29 Menominee Indian raised its record to 6-0, 5-0 in the Central Wisconsin-10, with its victory at home Friday. The Eagles were paced by Erin Wynos’ 21 points. Ania Smith added nine points and Sasha Peters tallied seven. Almond-Bancroft (2-5, 1-4 CWC-10) was led by Catie Schmidt’s nine points. Wittenberg-Birnamwood 34 Weyauwega-Fremont 17 Siri Zeinert led the undefeated Chargers with eight points, six steals and five rebounds in their win Friday at Weyauwega-Fremont. Corrissa Konkol had seven rebounds for Wittenberg-Birnamwood (7-0, 4-0 CWC-8). Taylor Nier chipped in seven points. Karissa Akey scored 11 points and grabbed a game-high 16 rebounds for Weyauwega-Fremont (7-1, 3-1 CWC-8).
