Certified child care providers are needed in Oconto County. To learn about this career opportunity, a free informational meeting will take place from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 25, in Room 3076 on the third floor of Building C of the Oconto County Department of Health and Human Services at the courthouse, 501 Park Ave., Oconto.
Participant should stop at the reception window to be admitted.
Resources and snacks will be provided, and prizes will be awarded.
Participants will hear facts about child care and learn about the certification standards and prelicensing process. Information will be provided regarding the Youngstar Program, food program and business organization ideas, plus training opportunities, home safety supplies, poison information and activity ideas. Certified providers can receive help to purchase food for meals and snacks.
