University of Maryland Global Campus Nearly 18,000 University of Maryland Global Campus students were named to the dean’s list for the spring 2025 term. To be eligible for the honor, a student must complete at least six credits during the term, earned a GPA of at least 3.5 for the term, and maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.5 at UMGC. Local students recognized were Justin Fisher, Keshena; and Cal Schmidt, Pulaski. UW-Stout The following local students have been named to the University of Wisconsin-Stout dean’s list for the spring 2025 semester. The award is presented to students who have a GPA of 3.5 or better. Gillett: Nicole Baumgarten, bachelor of science, early childhood education; Virgil Herzog, bachelor of science, computer science; Jessica Schaal, bachelor of science, special education. Eland: Emma Behreandt, bachelor of science, psychology. Shawano: Sam Edwards, bachelor of science, computer and electrical engineering; Tyler Evans, bachelor of science, construction management; Owen Moesch, bachelor of science, computer and electrical engineering; Kate Smits, bachelor of fine arts, industrial and product design; Mason Theis, bachelor of science, computer science; Walker Theis, bachelor of science, applied mathematics and computer science; Isaac Welander, bachelor of science, computer science. Iowa State University More than 11,300 Iowa State University students have been recognized for outstanding academic achievement by being named to the 2025 spring semester dean’s list. Students named to the dean’s list must earn a GPA of at least 3.50 on a 4.00 scale while carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours of graded course work. Bonduel: Phoenix F. Seubert, animal science, bachelor of science. University of Mississippi Ava Wepner, of Wittenberg, was named to the University of Mississippi’s spring 2025 honor roll list. Wepner, majoring in psychology, was named to the dean’s list honor roll, which is reserved for students who earn a semester GPA of 3.50-3.74. Minnesota State University, Mankato The academic high honor and honor lists (dean’s lists) for the past spring semester at Minnesota State University, Mankato, have been announced. Among 4,037 students, a total of 1,312 students qualified for the high honors list by achieving a 4.0 straight “A” average, while 2,725 students earned a 3.5 to 3.99 average to qualify for the honor list.
