Brandon S. Miller, 23, of Keshena, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, Nov. 10, 2013, from injuries sustained in an accident. Born on Dec. 14, 1989, in Shawano, he was the son of Sophia Miller and the late Christopher Sturdevant.
Brandon lived his entire life in the Keshena area and was a graduate of Menominee High School, class of 2007. He was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Neopit. In his free time he enjoyed basketball, cards and drawing.
Brandon is survived by his son, Brandon Miller Jr., and his son’s mother, Kimberly Waukau, both of Keshena; his mother, Sophia Miller, of California; his special aunt who raised him, Peggy Miller, and her children, Michael P. Cantrell Jr., Corey L. Cantrell, Breann B. Brisk and Rose Mary Cantrell; three sisters, Brenda (special friend, Kenny Latender) Miller, of Keshena, Nicole R. Krizan, of Keshena, and Sonya Sturdevant-Taylor; aunt, Laurie Bailey, and her children, Candice Oshkeshequoam, Christopher Oshkeshequoam, Jessica Oshkeshequoam and George Oshkeshequoam; nephew, Kenny Latender Jr.; and other nephews, relatives and friends.
Brandon was preceded in death by his father, Christopher Sturdevant, and grandparents, Bernard and Mary Miller.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, 2013, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Neopit with the Rev. David McElroy, O Praem, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Peggy Miller residence located at N586 Brooks Lane, Keshena, from noon Tuesday until the procession leaves for the church on Thursday. A parish wake service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the residence.
