Abrams Spotlight Productions Inc. announces its ambitious 2026 season of shows — three rollicking musicals set in distinctly different time periods.
ASPI will open the season with “Legally Blonde the Musical,” Feb. 26 through March 1 and March 5-8. In this fun, feel-good musical, Elle trades her high heels for Harvard Law School. This present-day musical celebrates confidence and staying true to yourself. Parental discretion is advised as some dialogue and themes may not be appropriate for children.
The second show of the season will be “1776 the Musical,” May 7-10 and May 14-17. This bold musical will be presented during America’s 250th anniversary. The Tony Award-winning classic brings history to life by chronicling the fight to declare America’s independence.
“Miracle on 34th St.: A Live Musical Radio Play” will cap off the season on Dec. 3-6 and Dec. 10-13. When a department store Santa claims to be the real Kris Kringle, he spreads joy and inspires belief in the magic of Christmas. This 1940s radio-style retelling of a holiday classic is full of joy, nostalgia, and Christmas magic.
All three shows will be presented at the Nancy Byng Community Theater, 5852 Maple St., Abrams.
Season tickets, on sale now, cost $60 for adults and $51 for senior citizens, youth, and military veterans. Season ticket holders have a chance to reserve their tickets before the general public and can choose their seats for each show.
