Allan G. Jensen, 81, of Birnamwood, died Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2026, under the care of his family and Heartland Hospice.
Allan was born Sept. 16, 1944, in Wittenberg, the son of Allen and Irene (Pingel) Jensen. Allan was united in marriage to Mary Dring on Aug. 15, 1964, in Richland Center. She preceded him in death July 17, 2018.
Allan cherished his family and the time spent together. He enjoyed time spent outside, whether hunting, fishing or watching baseball games. He especially enjoyed watching his grandchildren play ball. Allan loved throwing ball with Chris’ dog, Ruby. Above all, he was a family man and will be truly missed.
Allan is survived by his two sons, Chris (Vicki) Jensen of Birnamwood and Tony Jensen of Appleton; six grandchildren, Tommy (Casey Schmude) Nelson, Travis (Kaylee) Nelson, Jereme (Jackie) Jensen, Jessica (Josh) Meulemans, Dillon (Mikaila Clark) Jensen and Madison Jensen; nine great-grandchildren, Tyler (Kayley), Molly, Trista, Anderson, Amara, Allie, Caleb, Ryan and Landon; and two siblings, Edward Jensen and Jim (Sandy) Jensen.
Allan was preceded in death by his wife, Mary; his parents, Allen and Irene; great-granddaughter, Olivia Marie; and siblings, Joanne, Rodney and Judy.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2026, from 10 a.m. to noon at Schmidt & Schulta Funeral Home, Wittenberg.
