Red Raiders boys lacrosse team open with a loss

Pulaski’s boys lacrosse team opened the 2026 season with an 18-4 loss to Bay Port in Pulaski on March 26.

It was the opening match for both teams.

The Red Raiders girls team home game against the Pirates was canceled.

Oconto Falls boys, girls win home indoor meet

The Oconto Falls boys and girls track teams won their home indoor meet, facing off against four other teams.

The Panther boys scored 86.5 points, followed by Crivitz 64.5, Suring 27, and Oconto and Algoma with 17 each.

The girls led with 79 points, followed by Crivitz 51, Suring 48, Oconto 21 and Algoma 10.

Shawano athletes earn all-conference honors

Several Shawano Community High School athletes earned all-conference honors for basketball and wrestling with Leah Nordin named player of the year for girls basketball in the Bay Conference.

Nordin, a senior who played guard and forward, was also a unanimous selection for the all-conference first team.

Maci Beyer, another senior who played guard and forward, earned honorable mention status.

Track season opens with UWSP meet

Mitchell Pilon and Keaton Dauk led the Pulaski Red Raiders with second-place finishes at the Point Invite on March 21 at UW-Stevens Point. Pilon was second in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:02.62. He was joined by Carter Ryskoski in 27th and Grayden Gossen in 36th.

Dauk was second in the 60-meter hurdles in 8.44 seconds.

The 4x200-meter relay team placed third, and the 4x400 team was ninth.

Bonduel boys stumble in D4 state semifinal game

As well as the Bonduel boys basketball team had played leading up to its return trip to state, that didn’t happen in the Bears’ semifinal matchup with Cambridge.

The Bears, the No. 1 seed in Division 4 at the WIAA State Boys Basketball Tournament, saw their season end March 19 with a 71-49 loss to fourth-seeded Cambridge at the Kohl Center in Madison.
