Celebrate June Dairy Month at this year’s Oconto County Breakfast on the Farm, to be held Sunday, June 14, at Golden Corners Dairy owned by John, Bev, Andy and Bryan Wolf. The farm is located at 8551 Holtz Road, Oconto Falls.
Entertainment will be available for all ages, including live music, an appearance by Mad Dog and Merrill, a petting zoo and children’s games and activities. Farm tours will be offered.
The day will begin with a community service of thankfulness at 7:30 a.m. Breakfast will be served from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. Cost for the all-you-can-eat breakfast is $7 for adults and $4 for children ages 6-12.
Golden Corners Dairy is a third-generation farm, originally purchased by Henry and Caroline Wolf in 1946. John and Bev bought the farm in 1979.
In 2009, Golden Corners Dairy was formed.
John and Bev’s sons, Andy and Bryan, also are owners and operators of Golden Corners Dairy.
The Wolfs have grown their farm business to 1,100 crop acres and 275 milking cows, with an emphasis on registered Holstein cattle. Golden Corners Dairy raises its own replacements and does its own field work.
The dairy herd is milked in a double-8 parallel parlor. Milk is shipped through BelGioioso Cheese. Golden Corners Dairy employs nine full- and part-time employees.
The Oconto County Breakfast on the Farm is coordinated by the Oconto County Breakfast on the Farm Committee and made possible with financial support provided by local businesses.

A minimum two-hour time commitment is requested, but people may volunteer as long as they like during the event. Each preregistered volunteer will receive a complimentary breakfast ticket upon check-in at the volunteer’s tent.
