Westrich reaches 1,000-point mark

Feb. 19 Roncalli 70, Bonduel 48 Junior Ryan Westrich reached the 1,000-point threshold in Bonduel’s first loss of the season, a 70-48 defeat at the hands of visiting Roncalli. Roncalli held a six-point lead at halftime and then blew the game open with a 34-18 second half. Quinn Wesenberg led the Bears with 15 points, and Race Anvelink scored another 14. Westrich dropped in 11 points. The non-conference loss dropped Bonduel to 20-1 overall. Roncalli is also 20-1. Tigerton 59, White Lake 43 James Brady scored 26 points and pulled down 15 rebounds in Tigerton’s 59-43 Central Wisconsin North Conference win over White Lake. The Tigers improved to 8-0 in conference and 19-1 overall. Caleb Dahlstrom and Joey Zimdars each knocked in 10 points. Dahlstrom led the team with three assists, while Brody Miller had four steals.
