Veronica Ann (Owen) Kasper Lewis, 91, of Clintonville, passed away on April 6, 2015, in Shawano. She was born on April 15, 1923, in Shawano, the daughter of the late Elmer and Lelah (Meverden) Owen.
Veronica was united in marriage to August Kasper in Shawano. They moved to Illinois, and he preceded her in death in 1957. She was united in marriage to William Lewis in Illinois, and he preceded her in death 1989. She then returned to Shawano and was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the VFW Auxiliary and enjoyed playing Bingo.
Veronica is survived by her four sons, Tom (Anita) Kasper, of Gordon, Doug Kasper, of Illinois, James Kasper, of Clintonville, and Tony (Dena) Kasper, of Illinois, as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her brothers and sisters, Mildred Antos, of Embarrass, Mary Rizzo, of Arizona, Delbert (Norma) Owen, of Clintonville, and Naomi (Ronald) Yokes, of Wisconsin.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, August Kasper, in 1957; her second husband, in 1989; two daughters, Carolyn Kasper and Patricia Kasper Rozhon; as well as 12 brothers and sisters.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 11, 2015, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Luke Ferris officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of services.
