Oconto Falls Municipal Utilities contributed $1,000 to the Oconto County Economic Development Corporation to help support entrepreneurial efforts to strengthen the local business economy.
“As a not-for-profit utility, we measure success by how much money we can keep within the community. One way we do this is to make modest contributions to organizations focused on our city’s economic well-being and future growth,” said Chuck Grady, Oconto Falls Municipal Utilities manager.
Employees from the utility and its power supplier, WPPI Energy, work closely with local businesses and organizations. Together, they offer technical guidance and financial assistance for energy-efficiency projects that result in year-after-year cost savings.
