Time-share among Gresham Dollars for Scholars prizes

John and Diane Bauman, of Gresham, are donating a time-share to the Gresham Scholarship Fund annual banquet fundraiser March 28. The event typically raises from $12,000 to $14,000 for scholarships for Gresham Secondary School graduates. Students who apply for a GSF scholarship and have a C or better average receive $1,200 scholarships. The time-share package includes a four- to seven-day stay at a two-bedroom condo at one of more than 60 resorts in 21 states, including destinations such as Orlando, Las Vegas, Myrtle Beach, Hilton Head, Williamsburg, Charleston, Gatlinburg and Daytona Beach. The winner of the bid can pick the resort and the date. The value of the vacation special is estimated at $2,100 or more. A $1,000 minimum bid is requested.
