The Machickanee Players’ May production of “Thanksgiving on Serendipity Lane” will be held at the Park Avenue Playhouse in Oconto on weekends from May 1 through May 10.
This full-length comedy, which is the seventh play written and produced at the Playhouse by local playwright Kathy Campshure, portrays a dysfunctional family sharing a holiday together.
When Jane, the mother, asks each family member to share a serendipitous event from the past year, she gets quite a bit more than she bargained for!
The production features the usual lineup of dinner and nondinner shows, and a dessert show on Mother’s Day. Added to the performance schedule is an additional matinee at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 9.
