The Oconto Falls Area Historical Society is looking for local histories of families, businesses, military members and local historical information, to place in a memory book for the national 250th and the founding of Oconto Falls 180th anniversaries in 2026.
Pictures of the family and a short history of your family or business, with dates of arrival and location of family homes and businesses and a photo, if you have one. Local historical information that you have remembrances of, photos, articles, etc. Military members photos, military service branch and information.
Historical items and histories, will be preserved following the use of information for the memory book, for future reference and research material for the public. The book will be made available for purchase for the semi-quincentennial of the USA, providing the society has enough information to proceed with publishing a memory book.
