Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child shoe box project is well underway at Grace Lutheran Church, 501 S. Main St., Oconto Falls.
This year-round project is an effective means of sharing the gospel with children and their families around the world. In November 2023, 1,005 shoe boxes were collected and shipped from this area.
There is still time to drop off donations at the church. Donations include basic school supplies, games, puzzles, washcloths, toothbrushes, combs, brushes and anything suitable for young children ages 2-14. No liquids, candy or soap of any kind will be accepted. Monetary contributions are always welcome to defray expenses. Items can be placed in the blue tote by the church office door at any time.

Packing shoe boxes at Grace is scheduled for 6 p.m. Nov. 11 and Nov. 14 and 9 a.m. Nov. 16 in the church basement. The area coordinator is Ellen Pritzlaff, and she can be reached at 920-362-5752.
