Sallie Anne Davis, 72, of Wrightstown, formerly of Mountain, passed away on Friday, Jan. 9, 2015, at her home. She was born in Abrams on Nov. 17, 1942, to the late Edward and Marjorie (Wescott) Longsine.
Sallie graduated from Wabeno High School with the Class of 1961. She married Joel Davis in 1963, and the couple lived in Mountain for many years, where Sallie raised their three children. She moved to Wrightstown in 1995. Her favorite pastimes included crocheting, fishing and shopping. Sallie was very proud of her grandchildren and loved them very much.
She is survived by her daughter, Paula (Dwayne) Bargenquast, of Kaukauna; her son, Robert (Pam) Davis, of Mountain; seven brothers, Tinker (Kay) Longsine, of Mountain, James (Shirley) Longsine, of Oshkosh, Richard Longsine, of De Pere, Bill (Sue) Longsine, of Wautoma, Daniel (Patti) Longsine, of Oshkosh, Chris Thomas, of Oshkosh, and Rusty Thomas, of Oshkosh; three sisters, Janie Noack, of Green Bay, Virginia (Paul) O’Lando, of New Franken, and Penny Buie, of Sun Prairie; four grandchildren, Katie, Reggie, Cassie and Madyson; and a great-grandson, Walker.
She was preceded in death by her son, Danny Jo Davis, on March 2, 2011; a brother, Terry Longsine; Sallie’s partner, Bill Trossen; and a sister, Jackie Thomas.
A memorial service will be held in the spring, and the service times will be announced in the spring.
