Aubrie Rochon has been selected by her peers and faculty from Oconto Falls High School as the winner of the 2015-16 Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizenship Award. This award is based on leadership, dependability, service and patriotism.
Rochon, a senior, plans to enter the nursing program at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College. She is the daughter of Jackie and Charlie Rochon, of Oconto Falls.
Rochon has been involved in Student Council for four years and is treasurer this year. She has been a member of the Dance Team for four seasons. She has been a manager for the football team for two years and baseball team for two years. She was a member of the softball team her freshman and sophomore years and was named to prom court her junior year. She is involved with FFA, FBLA, Archery Club, Spanish Club, Drama Club and Art Club. Rochon has been a Channel 6 crew member for two years and now is manager.
Her hobbies include baking, stamping, making fun crafts, hunting, fishing, snow skiing, water tubing, snowmobiling, camping, hiking, traveling, crocheting and spending time with her family.
