Lena/St. Thomas Aquinas Academy senior Calvin Peters was named defensive player of the year, Across the Bay Conference officials announced. He was one of several team members to earn all-conference honors.
Named to the first team offense were Peters and senior Tyler Shallow as running backs, junior Colt Miller as offensive end and senior Tug Paidl as offensive lineman.
For the defense, first team honors were earned by Shallow as defensive back, Peters as linebacker, Miller as defensive lineman.
Gillett senior LaVonnzell was named to the first team defense as a linebacker, and Suring senior Michael Bailey was honored as a defensive lineman on the first team. He was also named the punter on the first team.
Second team offense honors were won by Suring sophomore Kroix Kempka as running back, Lena/STAA junior Max Peterson as running back, Bailey as offensive end, Gillett senior Andrew Urch as offensive end, Lena/STAA junior Blake Behnke as offensive lineman, Suring senior Donny Otradovec as offensive lineman and Bailey as placekicker.
Named to the second team on defense were Suring sophomore Taylor Booth-Stoffregen as defensive back, Gillett junior Jedric Herzog as defensive back, Suring senior Kaleb Kempka as linebacker, Kroix Kempka as linebacker, Peterson as linebacker, Gillett senior Ryan Pensis as defensive lineman, Lena/STAA junior Zander Thompson as defensive lineman.
Earning honorable mention status were Gillett senior Jesse DeBauch as quarterback, Smith as running back, Suring sophomore Grant Thompson as running back, Pensis as offensive end and Gillett senior Cole School as offensive lineman.
