At 3:37 p.m. Feb. 16 in the town of Oconto Falls, a man from Abrams was southbound on Chestnut Road and was unable to avoid striking a vehicle driven by a man from Oconto Falls, who was backing out of a driveway, due to icy road conditions. The first vehicle sustained minor damage. At 6:50 a.m. March 12, a man from Antigo was northbound on state Highway 32 near Valley View Road in Townsend and struck an automotive winch that had fallen off another vehicle. The vehicle sustained moderate damage. Low visibility was a factor in the accident. At 8:05 a.m. March 13 in the town of Riverview, a man from Gillett operating a commercial motor vehicle was northbound on state Highway 32 near Thelen Road. As he crested a hill, he saw a vehicle making a U-turn from the southbound direction to the northbound direction. To avoid striking the vehicle, he drove into the ditch, coming to rest in a snowbank. The other vehicle did not stop. The commercial vehicle sustained minor damage. At 4:10 p.m. March 17 in Townsend, a female from Wabeno was southbound on County Road T near Pine Acres Lane and attempted to pass another southbound vehicle. She lost control, and the vehicle skidded and entered the southbound ditch, rolling over and coming to rest on its wheels. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene. The driver and a female passenger from Chicago were not injured. The driver was cited for operating with a suspended license and not having liability insurance on the vehicle. At 3 a.m. March 21 in the town of Oconto Falls, a man from Oconto Falls was westbound on Busy Nook Road when his vehicle entered the north ditch, struck a mailbox and overturned, coming to rest in the ditch. The driver left the scene. The vehicle sustained severe damage. The driver was cited for inattentive driving.
