March 11 Traffic Miscellaneous - Authorities investigated a report of a vehicle traveling north in the southbound lanes on U.S. Highway 41/141 in Abrams. Fire - Authorities investigated a fire at a cabin on state Highway 32 in Suring. Miscellaneous - Authorities investigated a report of a vehicle either stuck or broke down on the ice off of Lade Beach Road in Little Suamico. Burglary - Authorities investigated a break-in of a shed on County Road S in Little Suamico. A vehicle and other items were reported missing. Accident - Authorities investigated a report of a vehicle that sustained damage after hitting road debris on County Road S in Sobieski. March 10 Threatening - A woman state Highway 64, Suring, reported receiving a threatening phone call. Juvenile Problem - Authorities assist with a 15-year-old girl who was out of control and suspected of using drugs on County Road S in Sobieski. Traffic Miscellaneous - Authorities investigated a report of a man without reflective clothing riding bike in the dark on County Road A between Lena and Oconto. Traffic Hazard - Authorities investigated a report of a woman driver in a silver Jetta who ran vehicles off state Highway 22 near Oconto Falls. March 9 Burglary - Authorities investigated a break-in of a camper on Berry Lake Road in Gillett. Animal Problem - A child was reportedly chased by a neighbor’s dog. Child Abuse - Authorities investigated a report from Bellin Health in Oconto of a 2-year-old with an eye injury brought in by a parent on County Road J in Little Suamico. Agency Assist - Authorities assisted Wood County Sheriff’s Office in reference to a vehicle sold on East Frontage Road in Little Suamico. Identity Theft - Authorities investigated a report from a man on Wawiorka Road in Krakow who said someone filed taxes under his name. March 8 Traffic Hazard - Authorities investigated a report that wood was falling from a trailer pulled by a truck on U.S. Highway 141 and County Road E, Abrams area. Repossessions - Authorities assisted with five area repossessions. Burglary - Authorities investigated a cabin break-in on Kelly Road in Gillett. Criminal Damage - Authorities investigated vandalism to St. John Lutheran Church on state Highway 32 in Townsend. Noise Disturbance - Authorities investigated a report of a bonfire and loud music on County Road J in Little Suamico. March 7 Suspicious - Authorities investigated a report of two people in a truck on state Highway 22 and Duame Road in Lena who appeared to be under the influence. Accident - An accident occurred on state Highway 32 and Sandy Corners in Gillett when the back end of a trailer blew off and hit another vehicle. Accident - A 34-year-old woman injured her leg in a snowmobile accident in Mountain. Burglary - Items were reported missing on Logan Road in Suring. Locks had been cut off at the building’s entrance. March 6 Emergency - Authorities investigate a report of a man with blood pressure issues on County Road B in Oconto Falls. Accident - Authorities investigated a report of ice falling from a semi and shattering a windshield of a vehicle on state Highway 32/64 in Mountain. Intoxication - Authorities received a report from Langlade County of a reckless driver on state Highway 64 in Mountain. Unwanted Party - Authorities investigated a report of a female who opened packages of brownies, took one bite and put them back on the shelf at Kwik Trip on Main Street in Oconto. Disturbance - Authorities investigated a report of a 41-year-old woman who was out of control and might suffer from medical issues on Foelkers Street in Gillett. March 5 Deputies logged 27 incidents, including the following: Accident - A two-vehicle accident occurred on Tom Post Road and Section 8 Church Road in Pound. Overdose - Authorities investigated an overdose report involving a 42-year-old woman in Lena. Agency Assist - Authorities assisted Shawano County with a warrant for a person in Gillett. Disturbance - Authorities assisted a REM home on state Highway 22/32 in Gillett after an upset woman tried to flag down motorists.
