The Oconto County Youth Fair Board is pleased to announce that applications for the 2025 Fairest of the Fair or Fair Ambassador are now available.
The board is looking for residents of Oconto County who are interested in serving as representatives for the 2025 fair. Through the competition, either a Fairest of the Fair or a Fair Ambassador (female or male representative) plus an attendant (first runner-up) will be named. These two individuals will represent the fair at a variety of events throughout the year.
A $1,000 scholarship/stipend and $300 expense allowance will be awarded to the individual named the Fairest of the Fair or Fair Ambassador. A $500 scholarship/stipend and $300 expense allowance will be awarded to the attendant.
The competition will take place May 4 at Gillett High School.
Individuals must be 18 years of age by Jan. 1, 2026, to apply. Interested individuals need to apply by April 1 by submitting a completed application and sponsor fee of $50.
