Proceedings from Sept. 3 A bail bond/initial appearance was held for Dahlton J. Sutrick, 21, Gillett, on felony charges of possession of THC (second-plus offense) and a misdemeanor charge, which allegedly occurred July 8 in the city of Gillett. The court set a $1,500 cash bond. An adjourned initial appearance is Sept. 10. Proceedings from Sept. 2 A plea negotiation was held for Chris A. Hoffman, 49, Gillett. Felony charges of operating while intoxicated (fifth or sixth offense) and bail jumping were read in and dismissed by the court. He pleaded no contest to operating with prohibited alcohol concentration on March 7 in Gillett. A $15,000 cash bond continues. Sentencing is Oct. 28. An arraignment/bond hearing was held for Mohmednoor S. Abdullahi, 21, Faribault, Minnesota, on felony charges of use of a computer to facilitate a child sex crime and child enticement sexual contact, which allegedly occurred June 21 in Oconto County. The court amended charges to solicitation/contribute to delinquency of child, acts and omissions. The $50,000 cash bond was amended to $10,000 cash bond. A plea hearing is Oct. 1. An initial appearance was held for Jason R. Koehler, 36, Marinette, on felony charges of theft-movable property (greater than $10,000), repeater, and a misdemeanor charge, which allegedly occurred Sept. 1 in Oconto. The court set a $2,500 cash bond. A continued initial appearance is Sept. 10. Proceedings from Sept. 1 A motion hearing was held for Chad A. Renier, 32, Pound, on felony charges of sexual assault of a child under 16, use of a computer to facilitate a child sex crime, child enticement and exposing genitals, which allegedly occurred Nov. 22, 2014, in Brazeau. A $50,000 cash bond continues.A motion hearing is Nov. 11. Proceedings from Aug. 31 A preliminary hearing was held for Douglas J. Kempke, 36, Pound, on felony charges of child abuse intentionally cause harm, child abuse recklessly cause harm (two counts) and a misdemeanor charge, which allegedly occurred March 2013 through April 2015 in the town of Oconto Falls. A $2,500 signature bond continues. An arraignment is Sept. 11. A sentencing hearing was held for Casey L. Shufelt, 31, Oconto, on a felony charge of substantial battery hate crime, which occurred Sept. 19 in Oconto. He was sentenced to 18 months incarceration and two years extended supervision. A misdemeanor charge was read in and dismissed. The court ordered restitution of $26,335.76 with alcohol and other drug abuse and Compass evaluations and follow through and no contact with the victim or victim’s family. A status conference was held for Rodney G. Enneper, 45, Oconto, on 13 felony charges: child enticement-sexual contact (four counts), first-degree sexual assault of a child under 12, first-degree sexual contact with a person under the age of 13 (two counts) and second-degree sexual assault of a child (six counts), which allegedly occurred from 2005-2014 in Oconto County. A $250,000 cash bond continues. An arraignment hearing was held for Michael C. Noffke, 23, Cecil, on felony charges of theft movable property and a misdemeanor charge, which allegedly occurred May 1 to 18 in Underhill. A $500 cash bond continues. Sentencing is Oct. 15. An initial appearance was held for Travis J. Lebick, 28, Marinette, on felony charges of burglary of a building or dwelling (habitual criminality) and two misdemeanor charges, which allegedly occurred April 7 in the town of Oconto. The court set a $2,500 cash bond. A waiver preliminary hearing, arraignment and plea hearing was scheduled Sept. 8.
