Healthfirst Network expands in northeast Wisconsin

Healthfirst Network has announced the expansion of its reproductive health services into Brown, Oconto, Marinette and Shawano counties, increasing access to affordable, confidential and comprehensive reproductive health care for residents throughout northeastern Wisconsin.

Statewide corn, soybean planting nearly complete

Wisconsin had 5.7 days suitable for fieldwork statewide for the week ending June 7, according to the United States Department of Agriculture’s National Agricultural Statistics Service.

With little precipitation early in the week, many farmers were able to wrap up planting and make good progress harvesting alfalfa. Much-needed rain fell later in the week across much of the state.
