The Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin has announced that it is distributing medical marijuana cards to tribal members who need them. Beginning Oct. 21, the tribe’s member services is providing the cards for a fee to tribal members older than 18 who fill out an application and self-certify that they need marijuana for medical purposes.

David Evan Blythin, age 61, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2024, at his home in Shawano. David was born on Jan. 24, 1963, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late William and Norma (Gorski) Blythin. He graduated from Shawano High School in 1981, then received his bachelor’s degree in natural resources from Carthage College in 1985.
