Feb. 15 Crandon Division 3, Regional B1 Lena won a pair of regional titles and Bonduel earned one, as several wrestlers advanced to sectional action. The Oconto Falls School Board approved a proposal Feb. 10 to build a high school varsity baseball field near the new middle school, as well as excavation for a future second ball diamond. The unanimous decision followed several months of discussion and a request by Trent Maloney Memorial Inc.

A Mequon man was killed in a snowmobile crash Feb. 14 in the Town of Mountain. According to a news release from Sheriff Todd Skarban, at about 5:07 p.m. the Emergency Dispatch Center was notified of a one-vehicle snowmobile accident with injuries, in the Town of Mountain. A preliminary investigation revealed the snowmobile, operated by a 55-year-old man from Mequon, was traveling south of County Road W, on the trail near Bonita Road.
