Westrich reaches 1,000-point mark

Feb. 19 Roncalli 70, Bonduel 48 Junior Ryan Westrich reached the 1,000-point threshold in Bonduel’s first loss of the season, a 70-48 defeat at the hands of visiting Roncalli. Roncalli held a six-point lead at halftime and then blew the game open with a 34-18 second half. Quinn Wesenberg led the Bears with 15 points, and Race Anvelink scored another 14. Westrich dropped in 11 points. The non-conference loss dropped Bonduel to 20-1 overall.

Wittenberg student to take the stage in Wausau
Wittenberg’s Halley Innes is back on the big stage, now cast in one of two child roles in Central Wisconsin Children’s Theatre’s “Les Misérables: School Edition.” She will perform the role of Gavroche, the young street boy who joins the student revolution and gives his life for the cause. The show opened in Wausau on Feb. 14-16. Innes performs on closing weekend, Feb. 20-23. “I love Gavroche.
