Kenneth T. Reinke, 88, of Clintonville, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2015, at his residence. Kenneth Theodore Reinke was born Dec. 29, 1926, to the late Theodore and Elsie (Schulz) Reinke in Clintonville. His boyhood was spent growing up on the family dairy farm, where he learned the meaning of a good work ethic. He was baptized and later confirmed at Christus Lutheran Church, Clintonville.

Roger P. Treptow, 70, Wabeno, died Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was born on Dec. 30, 1944, the son of the late Edward Treptow Sr. and Lucille (Fuhrman) Treptow, Wittenberg. Roger was a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of Davenport-Lang American Legion Post 414, Bowler. He worked as a welder at the former J.I. Case, Schofield, for over 25 years. Roger enjoyed going for rides on his yellow boat, ATVing and snowmobiling.

About 20 people have applied for the vacant community health educator position with the Shawano County Health Department. The position was officially posted by Shawano County on Feb. 2 with a Feb.

Shawano police reported this week they were still getting a few questions and concerns from residents about reports that a Hillcrest Primary School student brought a gun to school Feb.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held Thursday for Clintonville’s newest assisted living facility, Care Partners. Director Tracy Sirna said the facility at 59 Industrial Ave. is taking applications and still in the process of hiring employees. There will be two full-time and two part-time caregivers on each shift, she said. The assisted living facility offers a place for individuals who do not require a nursing home but need some personalized care.

The first Wisconsin Agricultural Tourism Summit will be held March 30-31 in Wisconsin Dells. “LUV-R-AG” will bring together leaders in tourism and agriculture, ag tourism business owners, marketing professionals and industry experts.

Clintonville Alderperson Mary-Beth Kuester will hold listening sessions at 7 p.m. March 12 and 2 p.m. March 14 at City Hall, 35 S. Clinton Ave. “This will be an opportunity for residents to share ideas, ask questions and find out about ongoing issues in our city,” Kuester said. The sessions are planned for residents of District 4.

Arlene L. Erickson, 83, of the town of Greenville, passed away early Tuesday morning, March 3, 2015, at Cherry Meadows Hospice, Appleton. The Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory, Clintonville, is assisting Arlene’s family.

Marianne J. Severson, former member of the Writers Inc. Group in Shawano, passed away Saturday, Feb. 28, at the age of 89. Survived by her husband, Oral; daughters Judi, Sharon and Lori; grandsons, Jay, Jim and Wes; and great-grandchildren, Alex, Paige and Jaiden. Services will be at the Church and Chapel, 15201 W. National Ave., in New Berlin on Thursday, March 5. Viewing from 3-5 p.m., service at 5.
