Patrick John “Beezer” Raymer, 60, of Greenville, Texas, passed away on Sept. 12, 2014, at the VA Hospital in Dallas, Texas.
Pat was born in Shawano on July 18, 1954, to the late John L. Raymer and Jean M. Carroll. He graduated from Wauwatosa East High School in May 1972 and went on to serve his country in the U.S. Army until he was honorably discharged. Pat worked as a professional dog trainer until his retirement. He loved being outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Pat was a kind and loving man and will be missed by all who knew him.
Pat is survived by his daughter, Kathleen “Katy” (J.D.) Miller, of Fort Polk, Louisiana; two grandsons, Mikel and Marc; his former wife and Kathleen’s mother, Kathy; his mother, Jean M. Carroll, of Shawano; his siblings, Vicki Raymer, of Shawano, Michael Raymer, of Gresham, and Rochelle Rivera, of Daytona Beach, Florida. He is further survived by six nieces, two nephews, six great-nieces and four great-nephews, as well as many friends.
Pat is preceded in death by his father, John L. Raymer.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, 2014, at St. Francis Solanus Catholic Church with the Rev. David McElroy, O. Praem, officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Inurnment will be in the St. Francis Solanus Catholic Church cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by Gresham American Legion Post 390.
