Hawks lose 2 in double dual
Wyatt Welch of Shawano Community High School won both of his matches at a double dual Thursday at Luxemburg-Casco, but the Hawks dropped both team matches to L-C, 64-9, and Denmark, 63-15.
Welch (106) defeated Justin Vande Hei of L-C on a fall in 1 minute, 2 seconds and Ryan Degrand of Denmark on a technical fall.
Mason Boogem (182) defeated Devon Hallet on a technical fall for the Hawks’ only other points against L-C.
Against Denmark, Dalton Parson (132) defeated Hunter Tenor on 6-4 decision.

Bonduel High School wrestling won five of seven contested matches against visiting Rosholt on Thursday.
Brandon Novitski (195) and Bennett Gunderson (220) won on falls. Novitski pinned John Koeppler just before time expired, and Gunderson pinned Lucas Wiza at 1:37.
Recording major decisions for the Bears were Jordan Boldt (106), who defeated Hampton Kedrowicz, 11-3; Travis Wollenberg (138), 9-1, over Kyle Groshek; and Jacob Baker (152), 13-3, over Aaron Cole.

Menominee Indian recorded three wins in its loss to visiting Shiocton on Thursday. Patrick White (138) pinned Blake Johnson in 1:41. Antonio Mahkimetas (145) pinned Trevor Young at 2:48. Forrest Webster (170) posted a 16-7 major decision over Trent Moder.
