EddaMae Bohardt, 79, of Shawano, died on Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2014.
EddaMae was born on Sept. 11, 1935, in Tigerton, the daughter of the late Earl and Wilma (Reinhart) Kauffman. On Aug. 4, 1951, EddaMae was united in marriage to Otis “Walter” Bohardt Jr. at Peace United Church of Christ. Walter preceded her in death on Jan. 8, 2010. EddaMae was a cook in several local restaurants, including the L & L for 35 years. She enjoyed crocheting and tending to her flowers.
EddaMae is survived by four children, Bob (Barb) Bohardt, of Shawano, Resa (Daniel) Petroski, of Wausau, Randy Bohardt, of Shawano and Kurt Bohardt, of Shawano. She is further survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother, Raymond (Ziggy) Kauffman, of Michigan; one sister, Roseann (Bill) Herman, of Tilleda; a special friend, Babe; and other relatives.
EddaMae was preceded in death by her husband, Walter; one son, Donald; one brother, Ronny; and one sister, Corrine.
A memorial service will be held at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 20, 2014, at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 3 p.m. until the time of the service.
