Traci Hutchcraft and Gerald Henley were recently named to the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeastern Wisconsin board of directors for 2015.
“Their individual experiences will make our board of directors well-rounded and stronger as we continue to meet the challenges of serving the youth of our community,” said Todd McPeek, executive director of the agency.
Hutchcraft is a long-term support case manager with Shawano County Human Services. She has been a Big Sister for over 10 years and previously worked as an enrollment specialist for the agency.
Hutchcraft is credited with the expansion of services to Shawano County in 2014, one of only a few counties not being served by any Big Brothers Big Sisters agency. She lives in Shawano with her husband, Neil, and children, Calvin and Kate. They enjoy spending time on Shawano Lake and attending local events.
Henley is the director of theatrical productions for the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center. His commitment to the community includes Make-A- Wish, the Wisconsin Area Music Industry and the Appleton Education Foundation, to name a few. Henley is also a voting member for the Grammy, Pollstar and Billboard awards.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeastern Wisconsin provides mentoring for youngsters ages 7 and up in Brown, Oconto, Door and Shawano counties. The agency’s mission is to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better, forever.
