Cynthia D. (Beyer) Taylor, 57, of Shawano, passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2015, in Shawano. Cynthia was born in Sturgeon Bay on April 16, 1957, to the late William and Dolores (Ebert) Beyer. She loved caring for and helping people, which led her to work as a nursing assistant for several years and later pursue her degree as a registered nurse. Cynthia loved gardening and was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Shawano.
Cynthia is survived by her children, Cassandra (Jamie Besaw) Hodkiewicz, of Shawano, and Jesse Taylor, of Oklahoma; five grandchildren, Taylor, Madison, Alexis, Hendrick and Mable Mae; her brothers and sisters, William F. (Donna) Beyer, of Shawano, Brad (Marina) Beyer, of Kewaunee, Beth (James) Trammel, of Kaukauna, Michael (Audra) Beyer, of West Bend, and Theodore (Diane) Beyer, of Milwaukee; her brother-in-law, Jack Swoboda, of Madison; as well as her aunt, Darlene (Leon) Krake, of Shiocton.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Bonita Swoboda.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, 2015, at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano with the Rev. Melinda Shriner officiating. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday from noon until the time of the services.
