Kim M. Van Boxtel, 48, of Shawano, passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2015, at Oak Haven in Shawano.
Kim was born in Appleton on Jan. 17, 1967, to William and Sandra (Niemuth) Springstroh. She attended Seymour High School, graduating in 1985. She then went on to further her education, studying business, marketing and communications at Fox Valley Tech and Concordia University. Kim worked at Secura Insurance, Thrivent Financial and Met Life. She was a Million Dollar Round Table producer. Kim was involved in many fundraising activities for ambulance, fire and police services, as well as her church.
Kim is survived by her parents, William and Sandra Springstroh; her sisters, Vicki (Lance) Olson and Brenda (Todd) Bartel; and a special niece and nephew, Alexandra and Remington Brandt; all of Bonduel.
Funeral services for Kim will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2015, at 6 p.m. at St. Peter Lutheran Church, N2740 French Road, Appleton. Pastor Tim Glende will officiate. Visitation will take place from 4 p.m. until the hour of service. Committal will take place at St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Peter Lutheran Church for the benefit of the children attending St. Peter Lutheran School.
