Emma Veronica Hawpetoss, 83, of Shawano, formerly of Duluth, Minnesota, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 29, 2015, in Shawano.
Emma was born in Keshena on July 15, 1932, to the late Paul Hawpetoss-Pemma and Mary (Alloway) Hawpetoss. Emma raised her family in Kewaunee and Menominee, and lived in Duluth, Minnesota, for 20 years.
Emma is survived by her children, Clarence “Billy” Vigue, of Manitowoc, Ruth Vigue, of Green Bay, Clifford (Julie) Vigue, of Whitelaw, Rita Vigue, of Manitowoc, Charles “Mark” (Eva) Vigue, of Manitowoc, Leonard (Linda) Long, of Texas, Earl (Vickie) Long, of Oregon, Lawrence (Sammie) Long, of Oregon, and Robyn (special friend Pete Crowe) Long, of Shawano; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother, Bernard Hawpetoss; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Pete, Joe, John, Robert and Sam.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at the Robyn Long residence located at N5153 Plum Lane in Shawano after 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2015, until Thursday at 11 a.m.
