Jeffrey Stuart Pahlow, 56, passed away suddenly at his home in Mazomanie on Saturday, Aug. 29, 2015. He was born on Aug. 24, 1959, to the late Edward and Bernice (Braun) Pahlow.
Jeff graduated from Shawano High School, Class of 1977. Following high school, Jeff enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, where he received training in microwave communications, which later aided him in his career as an electronics technician. His life and work took him to many interesting places, and as a result, he had friends he loved all over the country.
He was a history buff and a collector of books and music. He was an avid Beatles fan and collector who enjoyed attending music festivals and concerts. Jeff also enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and dance classes at Arthur Murray.
He was able to spend his last few years looking after his home and his stepgrandchildren, whom he loved dearly. They will miss him.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; his brother, Michael Pahlow, of Seal Beach, California; his sister, Susan (Paul) Rinehard, of Van Nuys, California; his stepdaughter, Penelope Moore, of Middleton; grandchildren, Novalie Brown, Natalie Scott and Tristan Ballweg; nephews, Andrew Rinehard, of Los Angeles, Nick (Kassy) Rinehard and Elet Rinehard, of Green Bay; nieces, Amber (Adam) Lotter and Jager Rinehard, of Green Bay, and Sadie Rinehard, of Mequon.
A memorial service is planned for Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015, at Swedberg Funeral Home, 518 W. Fifth St., Shawano. Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. with the memorial service at 11 a.m., with a luncheon to follow the service.
