Foot, ankle health to be discussed at seminar

Community Memorial Hospital will host a dinner seminar for seniors titled “Getting You Back on Your Feet” at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19. Prevea Health podiatrist Dr. Mark Kachan will talk about how to get relief from common foot and ankle conditions and how to prevent future problems. He will discuss the latest treatments for bunions, flat feet, high arches, heel spurs, neuromas and other common conditions. “It is my goal to help patients get back on their feet as soon as possible,” Kachan said. “I believe in combining the latest advances in podiatric medical and surgical technology with proven techniques that have stood the test of time.” Kachan provides clinical and surgical services for foot and ankle conditions such as injuries, heel pain and diabetic foot care. He sees patients at CMH in Oconto Falls and at the Prevea Howard Health Center in Howard. The seminar is part of CMH Senior Specials, an educational series at CMH, 855 S. Main St., Oconto Falls.
