Wanda Rudie

Wanda Katherine Rudie Jan. 11, 1963-Aug. 12, 2014 Wanda was born to Richard and Carol Nelson, attended Hayes Lutheran School, graduated from Gillett High School and became an Outstanding Graduate in 4-H. She went on to graduate from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College as a licensed practical nurse and concluded her career in insurance. Wanda married Todd R. Rudie on April 19, 1986, and they recently celebrated their 28th anniversary. She became active in 4-H again with her two daughters in 1997 and passed the 4-H tradition on to them. Wanda was active in the church and educated many young souls in Sunday school. She is survived by her husband, Todd; daughters, Heather and Alyssa; her parents; siblings, Rodney and Hope; and nieces and nephews. Friends and family called from 1-3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 15, at St. John’s Riverside Church, Gillett. A funeral ceremony was celebrated at 3 p.m. with the Rev. James Athey officiating. Internment took place following services in St. John’s Riverside cemetery. Kuehl Funeral Home, 920-855-2144, is assisting the family.
